There are a few realities of winter in Canada. One ...there is snow.....and it's cold. Two..you have got to cut wood...and move wood...burn wood. Wood is dirty...smokey...but what a fantastic heat! So it is worth all the austerity that is put into getting it. Of course it is better to build houses so that they require very little wood to heat it....thus saving trees,labour and pollution.
Gaura Nitai has been demolishing the living room and now we will need to clean up before putting the plastic on the walls. Fiberglass isn't our first choice.....but right now..it's what we can afford.
