Knit,Grow,Milk Your Way To Freedom

Dear Readers;

  I overheard this comment at the Craft Fair,"We are the terrorists."

  I've been batting that thought around for the past 2 days. What does that statement mean to me? What does that mean to you?

  To me that statement means that we who milk our cows...do not buy milk,butter,cheese,oil,(because we make ghee out of the butter),buttermilk. We do not need the commercial fertilizers because the cow gives us all the manure and urine that we require to keep our land and plants happy. We require no medications because we don't get sick often and if we do the cow urine mixed with herbs can cure most anything. When the cow dies we can use her hide for shoes and hooves for glue.(I'll get someone to do that one for me :P)

  We raise our own alpacas so we don't require money to buy sweaters or jackets..hats..gloves...scarves. We grow our own veggies..fruit...grains and beans. We don't have a mortgage so all we have to pay is our land tax. We work from our home..so we don't require fancy clothes or much fuel for travel. Very soon we will install our windmills and solar panels and get off the grid. Internet is important to us because we do our business through the internet but if need be we could do without.

 This means that if everyone did this or even a small percentage of the population then we would be very much a threat to the establishment because they can't tax us..much. The establishment does not have anything that we want or need. We are free from anxiety so we can think clearly...we can discriminate..we can see the big cheat. That to them would be terrifying...making us terrorists!

(Just ignore the hunting bit of this video....some want to eat meat, we don't require meat to live.)
