Getting Older

She has been made into the wicked witch of children’s nursery times and fables. She is a spiritual woman of wisdom, done with childbearing and is now free to be herself and explore her own spirituality. She's the Matriarch, the keeper of tradition and she walks the line between twilight and darkness and understands the importance of death and renewal.

I finished painting the raven on my boring bag.
The two ravens that I feed daily..or almost daily...

Dear Readers;

All living entities must be  go through the same processes..we are born..grow old....suffer disease and then die. Not very romantic I'm afraid.

I've just turned 56 years old . How am I feeling about it?

I decided to commemorate the occasion by dreding my hair. I feel as though I have lived for quite some time and now I just want to do what I want to do. I wanted to do  this to my hair for quite some time but my family kept telling me that I wouldn't like it..."It's to dirty for you Mom!"

Dirty??? Dreds are only dirty if you don't wash your hair.

Two weeks on and I really like this crazy snake hair. I'm selling soap at the Mall and I forgot to bring my camera so I will just post pictures of other dred heads. These pics are from  my Pintrest board.

Every crone requires a bird of some sort. I have been trying to feed pretty little birds but I think that are afraid of the ravens... so I've been feeding ravens instead. They actually seem to suit me better. Ravens are crows with attitude.

Here is what I've learnt about ravens.....they mate for life....when one of their flock dies, they all come to mourn and do not eat for the entire day.There is a lot more but this post is long enough as it is...so until another time.

Hare Krsna,
Lal
